Okay so I am wanting to start recording World Of Warcraft gameplay and posting it up on YouTube like as tutorials and commentary I love to help people with games but I need help figuring out what software to use First I need to know what capture software I should use for world of warcraft, now I really cant have this software making my game lag at one point I was between fraps and bandicam for recording and i don’t mind having to pay a small price but I really rather not so if you can tell me what there’s is available to me that would be nice I tried out a few different things with some different codecs and stuff but i really rather hear it from an experienced person.

The best recording software to use would be Fraps, but when recording it does take a lot out of your computer so frame rates will drop and some mics don’t work to well with fraps when you enable it to record you voice so what i recommend is downloading Audacity (its free and its good) and have that run at the same time then sync the two up in video editing software.
Also when recording play in the correct resolution
1080×1920
or
720×1280
depending on what resolution your gona upload in i recommend 720×1280 so the games can look nice and 720p is still HD and a good resolution to make videos in.
for fast video recording, people use fraps.
it is basically a real time video recorder using to capture fast video rendering such as game.
