just means that you are a good dog owner that has really well behaved dogs that respect you. What perfect dogs you have. You must be doing something right with raising them. I have found in most cases people that dogs tend to take after their owners. If a person is a nut case usually their dog exhibits their craziness. If the dog is kind and gentle the owner tends to be a genuine nice person.
I had a dog like that too. We got him from the humane society when he was 8 years old. Perfect dog, didn’t have to train him at all and he was a couch potato. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. It’s something to be proud of and something you show off. Trust me having an energetic dog is over rated. It was so nice to lay around the house with him.
